At its meeting on 21 December, the Hafnarfjörður Town Council resolved to advertise the following planning matters in accordance with the Planning Act No. 123/2010:
Amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025, for Hamranes M3
In accordance with Article 36, paragraph 1 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010, it was approved to amend the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025. The amendment consists of a change to the plan's statement, which permits an increase in the number of dwellings from 1,500 to 1,900, as well as 80 care places at a nursing home.
New detailed plan, Áshamar 50, plot 6A. Re-advertised in reference to the amendment to the general plan regarding the Hamranes M3 increase in housing.
The plot designated for development provides for a building of up to five storeys for a block of flats with up to 40 flats. The upper floors are for residential use, while the ground floor is intended for commercial activities, retail, services or other specialised purposes. A car park is provided, with spaces in a basement and on the surface of the site.
New detailed plan for Hringhamar 10, plot 20B. Re-advertised in reference to the amendment to the general plan concerning the Hamranes M3 increase in housing.
On the plot designated for development, a building plot is provided for three four- to six-storey blocks of flats with up to 70 flats. A car park with a basement is provided on the site.
New detailed plan for Baughamar 1, plot 30 C. Re-advertised in reference to the amendment to the general plan concerning the Hamranes M3 increase in dwellings.
On the plot designated for development, two five- to six-storey blocks of flats are planned, with up to 58 flats in total. A car park with underground and surface-level spaces is also planned.
Change to the Selhraun South local plan, regarding Suðurhæð 9
The change consists of rotating and repositioning the building plot. In addition, new exits and entrances are planned for the site.
Change to the detailed plan for the Setbergs centre area, concerning Stekkjarberg 11
The change consists of the plot being extended to accommodate 26 flats in three two-storey blocks of flats. A building area for bicycle and pram storage is also provided for.
