Hafnarfjörður Town Council, at its meeting on 23 November 2022, approved the planning statement for the amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður, in accordance with section 30(1) and section 36 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

The change consists of an amendment to the justification, authorising an increase in the number of flats from 1,500 to 1,900, in addition to 80 care units in a nursing home.

The planning statement will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Customer Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Norðurhellu 2, from 26.11 – 17.12.2022. The data can also be viewed below.
