Kilometres is about two friends at parting ways.

Kilometres is about two best friends who are heading in different directions in life and are saying goodbye at Keflavik Airport. One of them is going to study abroad and plans to make a new life for himself in a new place. The other is staying in Iceland, moving in with his girlfriend and looking for a job. The script is loosely based on the friends' own experiences of growing up in Iceland and facing that big decision and big step for quite a few people: to move abroad or not? The short film is one long scene set in a single car, filmed in one take. Eiríkur Ingi Böðvarsson handled the filming and post-production, and Brynjar Unnsteinsson did the sound mixing for the film.
