The Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved at its meeting 26th April last.to advertise an amendment to the detailed plan for Ásláns 4th Phase, in accordance with section 1 of article 43 of the Planning Act.

The changes are:

• The nursery's building plot is being extended and the car park is being relocated.
• A footbridge over Ásvallabraut is moved to the south-west of the roundabout.
• The building plots for terraced houses on Axlarás will be enlarged, increased in number, and some of them will be two storeys high.
• Plot at Skógarás 2 is expanding
• The detached house at Virkisás 20 will be single-storey.
• The detached houses at 17 and 19 Hryggjarás will be single-storey.
• Single-family houses no. 17-33 above the street at Virkisás and Hryggjarás 21 have the option to build a one- or two-storey house.
• A footpath is laid down in the green belt between Axlarás and Ásvallabraut.

The proposals will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Norðurhellu 2, from 11 May 2023. You can also familiarise yourself with the proposals below.
