Three management days are held annually for all managers of the City of Hafnarfjörður, who work at the 73 sites under the authority of the municipality. One full day is held in the autumn, and two half-days are held in the first half of the year. The services provided by these 73 municipal departments are diverse, but aspects such as operations, human resources, and management are common. It is therefore important to have a forum where the group can discuss and reflect on their projects and main challenges.  Around 120 managers from the City of Hafnarfjörður attended the autumn meeting 2023, where they listened to a variety of presentations and took an active part in a workshop on shaping and branding a new management school for the City. The meeting was chaired by Sunna Magnúsdóttir, who recently took up the position of Project Manager for Culture and Tourism at Hafnarfjörður Municipality.
