Jumping at Hörðuvellir and the Hill
At a meeting of the Environmental and Operations Committee of Hafnarfjörður on 30th October, it was agreed to answer a call from residents and increase the number of bouncy castles in the town. It is planned to install one bouncy castle in an open area bordered by Háholti, Hvaleyrarbraut and Álfholti, and the other in an open area at Hörðuvellir. The areas are designated for general outdoor recreation and therefore do not require any planning changes. There are currently five inflatable play areas in Hafnarfjörður, and so the number will be seven once these two are operational. The bouncy castles are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day during the summer weeks and are very popular with children and young people. There will be plenty of places to jump in Hafnarfjörður this year. 2025.
