Go back in time and experience the Viking spirit! At 28. The Viking Festival in Hafnarfjörður A great number of Vikings from all over – more than 150 Vikings from Iceland and abroad are taking part in this spectacular family festival.
Little Gallery – Life Stages – Heimir Snær Sveinsson
Heimi Snæs Sveinsson's exhibition is open all weekend and also on 17th June. The exhibition features works that convey ideas about the connection between the subconscious and the environment.

Kit and Cosplay Workshop!
Have you always wanted a brilliant costume? Do you watch all the videos on YouTube and follow everyone with #cosplay on every platform? Is EVA foam terrifying? Are sewing machines at the very pinnacle of impossibility? Rubbish. Anyone can make a costume/kit. Workshop at Hafnarfjörður Library between 13:00 and 15:00.

The library in Hafnarfjörður invites all children to take part in the international „Reading in the Clearing“ event, 2025 edition.

In harmony with matter and spirit – a conversation with the curator
Aldís Arnardóttir, curator and director of Hafnarborg, guides visitors through the exhibition. In harmony with matter and spirit, which is on display at Hafnarborg this summer, looking back over the long and varied career of the artist Eiríkur Smith. The exhibition is being held to mark what would have been the artist's 100th birthday this year, had he lived.
