🇮🇸 17th June in Hafnarfjörður – Full programme! 🎉

The heart of Hafnarfjörður skips a beat on National Day. Why? Because it's our day, after all. Join BMX Bros, Una Torfa, Emmsjé Gauti and all the people of Hafnarfjörður where the heart beats – in the town centre of Hafnarfjörður. The whole family will have fun together in Hafnarfjörður. Life, fun, art, music and all sorts of events from morning till night on this day of celebration.

🎈 Start the day with a swim and a steam, then check out the Vikings at the Viking Festival, try roller skating or even badminton. Then join the parade down to Thorsplan, where the festival culminates. There you'll find entertainment, concerts, dancing, a disco and a wide variety of delicious food and drink.

• Children can enjoy kids' karaoke in Hellisgerði, get face painting at Hörðuvellir and there will be bouncy castles all over town. Art lovers can check out new exhibitions at both Port city and on The Folk Museum.

• 12:00-17:00 – Annríkis's national costume show at Hafnarborg
• 1:00 p.m. – Visit the new Hafnarfjörður customer service centre at Strandgata 8-10!
• 1:00 p.m. – Men in Sheds – Open House
• 1:00 p.m. – Parade from Flensburg School

🍔 Food trucks will be all over the area. The atmosphere will be electric. 17th June celebration, just as it's best in Hafnarfjörður..

• Linnets Path at Fjardargata and 23 Hverfisgata
• East Road from Linnets Lane
• Mjósund by East Street
• Lakeside Path from Arnarhraun to Lækjarskóli
• Disabled parking at 1 Linnetsstíg
