Music and motor combine young people
Mótorhúsið was founded in 1996 and is located at Dalshrauni 10, which is best known as the old liquorice factory. Mótorhúsið is a youth centre for 13-20 year-olds with facilities for the repair and maintenance of various vehicles. In the same building is also the music workshop Músikheimar, where a studio has been set up for rehearsals and recording for young people.
