The City of Hafnarfjörður and the Marketing Office of Hafnarfjörður hosted a successful conference on the state of and opportunities in the tourism industry over the weekend. The conference took place at Hafnarborg and was entitled „The Strategy and Position of Hafnarfjörður in Tourism“. Significant reduction in property tax for senior citizens in Hafnarfjörður
The property tax discount for pensioners and the disabled will increase significantly in the coming year, according to a proposal approved by the Hafnarfjörður town council at its meeting yesterday.
