Agreement with the Hafnarfjörður Rescue Squad signed

Haraldur L. Haraldsson, Mayor of Hafnarfjörður, and Gísli Johnsen, Chairman of the Hafnarfjörður Rescue Squad, signed an operating agreement for 2018 yesterday. New slip road on the Reykjanesbraut opened today.

The new junction of Reykjanesbraut and Krýsuvíkurvegur will be opened at 13:00 today, Friday, 15 December.  A ceremony will be held at the junction on the west side, where Transport Minister Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson will officially open the junction with the assistance of the Director of Public Works. In addition to them, the mayor of Hafnarfjörður and representatives from the City of Hafnarfjörður, the National Road Administration, the contractor, and others who have been involved will be present.

A town council meeting has been called for Wednesday, 6th December. The meeting will begin at 16:00 in the council chamber at Hafnarborg, Strandgata 34.
