Open dorghunting competition for 6-12 year old Hafnfirðingar
Every year, the play schemes in Hafnarfjörður hold a pike fishing competition at Flensborg Pier, which is open to all children aged 6-12. For almost 30 years, the City of Hafnarfjörður has organised this pike fishing competition, and hundreds of local children take part each year, with the same great joy every time. The instructors from the sports and play courses provided robust supervision during the angling competition, and the sailing club Þytur also had a rescue boat patrolling the area.
