Hafnarfjörður is expanding!
New neighbourhoods will be created and older neighbourhoods will become larger. The City of Hafnarfjörður has launched a new information page about the development that is taking place in Hafnarfjörður and will take place in the near future. It sheds light on development from 2017-2040, with a focus on the years 2021-2031. The summary is based on the approved planning for Hafnarfjörður as of the start of 2022 and does not include densification and new neighbourhoods that are still at the concept stage.
