There has been a significant increase in vehicles without registration plates being left in open and public spaces, and the council has received numerous complaints regarding this. It has therefore been decided to launch a campaign against vehicles without number plates that are parked on pavements, open spaces, vacant plots and paths, and which can obstruct views, create a hazard, or contribute to an unsightly appearance of the town. This specifically targets certain neighbourhoods, but such vehicles can be found in almost all neighbourhoods.
Tips about vehicles without number plates that have been stationary for a long time are accepted via the council's feedback portal.
