Offers are invited from legal entities for the plot of land at Hrauntunga 5. The plot permits the construction of three two-storey residential houses: two semi-detached houses and one detached house, comprising a total of five flats. Two houses currently stand on the plot and are to be removed; the successful bidder shall be responsible for their removal. The detailed plan for the plot came into effect on 16 October 2019. A minimum price of kr. 45,122,394 has been set for the plot, based on the BVT of February 2020. Offers below the minimum price will be considered invalid.

Bidders are encouraged to familiarise themselves thoroughly with the site's detailed plan and its appendix.

An application from a legal entity shall be accompanied by: The previous year's accounts, certified by a qualified auditor, together with an unconditional written confirmation from a bank or lending institution regarding the applicant's solvency and potential lending facilities for the proposed house construction. Furthermore, the applicant must provide documentation detailing an unblemished building history, such as a certificate from an insurance company.

Offers for the plot, together with all supporting documents, must be received by 10 a.m. on Monday, 24 February 2020. On the same day at the same time, the tenders will be opened in the Council Chamber of the Hafnarfjörður Town Hall. Tenders for the plot will be considered at a meeting of the Town Council on Thursday, 27 February 2020.
