Alice Olivia herself is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and is organising an event, exhibition and sale at Firði and throughout the city centre, which aims to raise awareness of breast cancer. In the run-up to October 2021, Alice has designed a new accessory, a key fob and bag charm, which is especially dedicated to her fight and that of many other women. The accessory is symbolic of breast cancer, and the stone, which is covered in yarn, is meant to represent a lump in a woman's breast. Several other businesswomen from Hafnarfjörður, including from Edda's Yarn Shop, have worked together on the production at the suggestion of Edda herself, thus helping Alice to make this idea and her own dream a reality.  In the coming weeks and months, more MUNDU products will be launched, including in collaboration with Sigga from Sigga&Tímó and the artist Embla Sigurgeirsdóttir. The products will be available for sale at Tíra í Firði and in other shops on Strandgatan. The progress and production will be guided by Alice's well-being, as she is going through a difficult time at the moment.

Proceeds from the sale of MUNDU will go directly to the Cancer Society.
