Seafarers' Day celebrated with an entertainment programme

Seafarers' Day in Hafnarfjörður will be celebrated with an entertainment programme at Flensborg Harbour from 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, 12 June. Four teams are registered for the sculling competition which starts at 13:00, artists' studios by the harbour will be open to visitors, and the rescue equipment of the Hafnarfjörður Rescue Squad will be on display. At the Þyt Sailing Club, you will be able to try out kayaks and rowing boats, and a fish exhibition by the Marine Research Institute will be held in the area in front of the institute's headquarters at Háabakki.
