8 a.m. Flags lowered.
At 10 o'clock, the Hafnarfjörður Brass Band will play at Hrafnista.
10:30 a.m. Wreath-laying at the memorial at
Vidistaðakirkja about missing seamen
11 a.m. Seamen's Day service at the Free Church in Hafnarfjörður.
13:00-16:00 Flensburg Harbour Festival Programme:
13:00-16:00 Family Fun Cruise – departs every half hour
13:30 The puppet van entertains the children and their families.
14:30 Rowing. A number of teams compete for the coveted rowing cup.
2pm-4pm Opening ceremony, awards and entertainment on stage:

On the festival grounds, a fire engine and equipment from the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service will be on display, along with the rescue equipment of the Hafnarfjörður Rescue Squad and fish soup provided by Matbær. There will also be a unique aerobatic display by Björn Thoroddsen, and a helicopter will demonstrate a rescue operation.
The workshop, „Your Place, Our Environment at Flensburg Harbour“, is currently taking place at Hafnarborg, and the project is linked to the area's new plan. It is therefore appropriate to see the exhibition on Seamen's Day.

At 8 p.m., a concert at Hafnarborg with an international tango group performing tangos by Astor Piazzolla and others. Guido Bäumer, saxophone, Aladár Rácz, piano, Hávarður Tryggvason, double bass, and Krzysztof Olczak, accordion. Tickets: 2000 kr., 1000 kr. for senior citizens, disabled people, and students.
