Restructuring – 5 Hamarsbraut

Change to the local plan for 5 Hamarsbraut, Hafnarfjörður. 

The Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfjörður approved at its meeting on 07.02.2017 to advertise a proposal for an amended detailed plan for the plot at Hamarsbraut 5 in accordance with 1. subsection 43.3 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010 and simultaneously to give local notice of the proposal in accordance with subsection 44.2 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.   

The change consists of the construction of a double dwelling on the plot.

No other amendments to the conditions are proposed. The permitted building size on the plot will remain 204.8 m² (net floor area 0.45), and all other matters relating to the design of the house shall be governed by the existing conditions. Parking is to be provided within the plot.

The proposals will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Customer Service Centre at Strandgata 6 and at the Environmental and Planning Services at Norðurhellu 2, from 24 March 2017 to 5 May 2017.

Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the amendment, which must be submitted in writing to the Environmental and Planning Services of the City of Hafnarfjörður no later than 5 May 2017. Those who do not submit comments on the amendment within the specified deadline will be deemed to have consented to it.
