Guidelines on disruption to school activities
Disruptions to transport are expected.
Considerable rain or snowfall is expected while the weather passes, and the snow may cause slippery conditions on the roads. Rain and thawing can cause surface water flooding, so efforts should be made to ensure water can reach the drainage system and to prevent water damage. Residents are reminded to check the drains/storm drains around their properties. Travel disruption is expected, but information on closures on major roads to and from the capital region can be found on the Road Administration's website. Damage from flying debris is likely, and people are advised to secure any loose items. Contractors are advised to secure construction sites properly.
