The town's staff compete in golf

The annual golf tournament for staff and councillors of the City of Hafnarfjörður was held in mild and fine weather at the Keili Golf Club in mid-August. Nearly 90 employees from various council departments, as well as councillors, signed up to play and were in full swing. South Bay Pool reopens

The South Bay Pool will reopen on Tuesday, 16th August after extensive maintenance work. Initially, there will be some restrictions on the outdoor area due to new construction at the pool. The indoor and outdoor pools, along with three hot tubs, will be open, but the outdoor changing rooms, water slides and paddling pool (i.e. mushroom) will be closed.
