New lawyer for the town

Ivar Bragason has been appointed as a lawyer for the City of Hafnarfjörður. Ivar graduated with a Master of Laws degree from the University of Iceland in 2008 and was admitted as a district court lawyer in the same year. Our athletes honoured

Hafnarfjörður's sportspeople were honoured for their achievements during the year. In total, 536 athletes from Hafnarfjörður won Icelandic championship titles in around 30 sports, representing 14 clubs.  The Female and Male Athlete of Hafnarfjörður 2016 were crowned at a ceremony this evening. Opening hours – Christmas period

On Christmas Eve, Ásvallalaug and Suðurbæjarlaug will be open from 8 am to 1 pm, so residents should be able to enjoy a pleasant Christmas bath in the pool.  The pools will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and open from 8 am to 11 am on the last day of the year.
