During the week of 23rd-29th May, the Icelandic Youth Federation is holding a fitness week in Iceland. Hafnarfjörður is taking part in a municipal swimming competition, which takes place all week at Ásvallalaug, Suðurbæjarlaug and Sundhöllin.
