Here you can apply for a part-time position as a Personal Support Worker with the Department for Children and Families. This involves flexible working hours after the standard working day has finished. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. 

The primary aim of individual support is to provide personal support and assistance, which is primarily intended to break social isolation and empower the individual towards self-reliance and autonomy.

Öldutúnsskóli is looking for school and after-school staff for the 2026-2027 school year.

Öldutúnsskóli is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic school and leisure assistant for a 50% position at the Selið after-school club. 

This is a part-time position involving providing support and assistance to pupils in Years 1–4 at the after-school club, Selin, on weekdays afternoons from 13:00 to 17:00. The role is well-suited as a side job alongside studies or another job. 

Selið offers a wide range of leisure activities, with an emphasis on organised activities suitable for each individual. On school organisation days and on weekdays during the Christmas and Easter holidays, the after-school club is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The School of Medicine is seeking a Music and Performing Arts Teacher. in 100% work

Lækjarskóli has a history dating back to 1877 and is situated in a beautiful, green environment by the stream in Hafnarfjörður. A new school building was constructed, bright and spacious, and opened in 2002. The school has a swimming pool and a sports hall, among other facilities. There are nearly 500 pupils. During the last academic year, we have been working systematically towards three main goals: staff satisfaction, standardised assessment, and information technology.

The motto of the School of Nursing is responsibility, respect and safety, and all school activities are reflected in these words. A few years ago, the School of Medicine began implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Hraunvallaskóli is seeking to appoint an ICT teaching consultant. The position is 50% (TP3T), but there is an opportunity to increase the contract by teaching at the school.

Hraunvallar School is unique in that both a nursery and a primary school are run within its walls. Tjarnarás Nursery School is looking to hire a full-time teacher from 1 August 2026.

Tjarnarás Nursery School is a four-unit nursery school in Áslandið, where the unspoilt nature is close at hand. The main focus of the school's work is the children's participation, initiative and creativity, with free play taking priority.
