Víðistaðaskóli is seeking leisure leaders for the youth club, Hraunið. The position is for approximately 25 hours per week and is suitable for students or those looking for a part-time job, as the working hours are outside of normal business hours.
The youth club Hraunið offers children and teenagers in Years 5 to 10 a venue for a varied and enjoyable leisure activity programme in the school building after the regular school day has finished. The work is based on youth democracy and a preventative approach. Hraunið is a venue for open social activities, a structured programme, group work and various events that the staff organise with the young people.

Hraunvallaskóli is advertising for a special needs teacher to provide special needs tuition for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The school is unique in that both a nursery and a primary school are run within its walls. It could be said that pupils begin their school journey at eighteen months old at Hraunvallar School and complete it at the age of sixteen. The primary aim of individual support is to provide personal support and assistance, which is primarily intended to break social isolation and empower the individual towards self-reliance and autonomy.
Competency requirements:
