Hildur Aðalsteinsdóttir is leading a walk around Ástjörn with a stop at Ásfjall. A comfortable route with a little hill-climbing, as Ásfall is 128m high. A beautiful route with a good view over our town. The walk is 5 km with 139 metres of ascent. The walk will start from the Haukahús at Ásvellir.
The City of Hafnarfjörður is offering cultural and health walks every Wednesday evening this summer. Most of the walks take about an hour and start at 8 p.m., unless otherwise stated. The Cultural and Health Walks are a joint project by Hafnarborg, the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum, the Hafnarfjörður Library and Healthy Hafnarfjörður. Participation is free and everyone is welcome.
