Kolbrún Kristínardóttir is leading a family-friendly walk to Valaból in the Helgafell area. Valaból is an old resting place with a cave and fun climbing trees, where a picnic break will be taken before heading back. The route is easy to walk and is about 5 km in total. The walk will start from the car park on Kaldárselsveg (Helgafell).
The City of Hafnarfjörður is offering cultural and health walks every Wednesday evening this summer. Most of the walks take about an hour and start at 8 p.m., unless otherwise stated. The Cultural and Health Walks are a joint project by Hafnarborg, the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum, the Hafnarfjörður Library and Healthy Hafnarfjörður. Participation is free and everyone is welcome.
