Commitment to the Global Goals and key actions

The purpose of the Day of Action is to remind people of the importance of the Global Goals and for businesses, institutions, civil society organisations, schools and local authorities around the world to demonstrate their commitment to the Global Goals and the actions they require. On 25 September 2023, it will be eight years since the UN's Sustainable Development Goals were adopted. The Goals include a call for international cooperation to enhance well-being and make the world a better place by 2030. Although significant progress has been made in various areas, the journey to 2030 is halfway through, and it is clear that greater momentum is needed in actions to achieve the intended results.
