Drilling and resurfacing on the Reykjanesbraut
Due to roadworks (grinding and tarmacking), the following areas on/near the Reykjanesbraut will be closed on 21st June to 22nd June.

„The Highways Department has given permission for the following works, weather permitting, on Sunday. 21st June and the night before 22nd June.“
Drilling on the Reykjanesbraut – Roundabout at Lækjargata. The works will be ongoing. from From 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the night of 22 June.“
„The road will be reduced to a single lane at Ásvellir, and will subsequently be closed. The slip road from Kaldárselsvegur onto the Reykjanesbraut will also be closed. A diversion will be in place via Strandgata, Fjarðargata and Reykjavíkurvegur.“
„Resurfacing of the Reykjanesbraut – Kaplakriki / Sólvangur. The works will be ongoing. from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on the night of 22nd June. The section is 750 metres long.“
„Reykjanesbraut will be closed between Kaplakrika and Lækjargata. A diversion will be via Strandgata, Fjarðargata and Reykjavíkurveg.“
„Resurfacing of the Reykjanesbraut – Roundabout at Lækjargata. The works will be ongoing. from 23:00 to 06:00 on the night of 22 June.“
