Guidelines for visits due to Covid-19
To ensure the utmost safety and in light of the situation that has arisen due to local transmission of infection and the potential for a cluster outbreak in the capital region, the City of Hafnarfjörður has decided to issue guidance on visits to residential care flats for the elderly, in care homes and residential units for people with disabilities, specifically to protect our most vulnerable groups.

- People who have been abroad on Not to visit residents for 14 days after arrival in the country. This also applies even if no infection is detected during testing at the border.
- People who have been in contact with individuals with an infection Not to visit residents.
- People who feel a cold or flu-like symptoms on Not to visit residents.
Staff in residential care for the elderly, in nursing homes and in residential communities follow the same guidelines in their work. Other visitors may visit residents, but it is important that the utmost caution is exercised and social contract Honoured in all cases.
