At its meeting on 21 June, the Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved a construction permit for Landsnet hf. for the Sandskeið Line 1, 220/400 kV high-voltage line project (also known as Lyklafell Line 1). Specifically, this concerns a high-voltage line planned to be erected between the substations at Sandskeið and in Hafnarfjörður, and named the Sandskeið Line 1.
