There is also a state of uncertainty on the Reykjanesbraut from 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. Further information regarding road conditions and the weather can be found on the websites of the Road Administration and the Met Office.

A heavy demand on emergency services is expected early tomorrow morning and throughout the day. They will therefore be unable to assist people in getting to and from work, including healthcare professionals.

Disruption to school activities

There will be disruption to nursery and primary school operations tomorrow. Nurseries and primary schools are open, but normal activities will not take place while the orange warning is in effect. Normal nursery, primary school and after-school activities will resume once the weather warning has ended.
