Start-up grant to Brynja for the purchase of 10 flats

Brynja, the housing fund of the Disabled Persons' Association of Iceland, and the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður have signed an agreement on a founding contribution for the purchase of flats in Hafnarfjörður. The agreement covers the purchase of up to ten social flats. The total capital value of Brynja's purchase plan amounts to 562 million króna, and the capital contribution from the City of Hafnarfjörður is just over 67 million króna. Brynja's role is to own and manage flats for people with disabilities.

Brynja, the housing fund of the Disabled Persons' Association of Iceland, and
The City of Hafnarfjörður has signed an agreement on a foundation grant for the purchase of flats in
Hafnarfjörður. The agreement applies to the purchase of up to ten social housing units.
The total initial value of Brynja's purchase plan amounts to 562 million króna, and the initial contribution amounts
Hafnarfjörður's just over 67 million kronur.

Brynja owns and manages flats for disabled people.

Brynja's role is to own and manage flats for disabled people.
Brynja's general housing is allocated to tenants who are below the defined
income and asset thresholds and is based on how long the individual concerned
has been on a waiting list for a flat.
