Danced to victory at Samfés

A fantastic result was achieved when the Samfés dance competition took place at the youth centre Garðalundur in February. The competition was a great success. We from Hafnarfjörður had our own people in the top places, including the top three in the 10-12 age group.

The atmosphere in the hall was electric, and it was clear that the competitors had put a great deal of work and pride into their performances.

There were individual and group competitions in the age groups of 10–12 and 13–16. The performances were varied, creative and dynamic, and it was a joy to see the young people's enthusiasm for dance and the talent they displayed on stage.

The judges of the competition were Baldvin, Inga María and Eydís Gauja. They did not have an easy task choosing a winner.
