Sigríður Kristinsdóttir appointed town solicitor
Sigríður graduated with a law degree from the University of Iceland in 1989. She was admitted as a district court lawyer in 1994 and as a Supreme Court lawyer in 2013. She has been practising law for the past 26 years, 21 of which as a lawyer.

Sigríður has comprehensive knowledge of local authority projects and has also worked within the civil service.
Sigríður will start work in mid-October.
