Multidisciplinary Games at Áslandsskóli
At the multi-intelligence games at Áslandsskóli, there were a variety of activities, such as jigsaw puzzles, paper dart games, solving word jumbles, dancing, basketball, and much more.
The Multidisciplinary Games are at Ásland School today; they began yesterday. They involve pupils tackling a variety of different tasks, with the usual timetable put aside for the duration.
At the Multiple Intelligences Games at Ásland School, there were all sorts of activities, such as jigsaw puzzles, paper aeroplane throwing, solving anagrams, dancing, basketball shooting and much more. Pupils are mixed into groups across year groups, where the oldest pupils take responsibility for their group. Each activity takes a short time, so pupils take part in a number of activities throughout the school day.
A teaching day like the one at the Multilingual Games achieves a great deal. Students get a change from their usual schoolwork and tackle different tasks to most school days; they get to know other students, learn to work together in new ways, and get to show new sides of themselves.
The photos were taken at Áslandsskóli this morning at the multi-intelligence games.
