Open a café in the House
A new working group for young disabled people at Húsinu, named Geitungarnir, will be running a café on Friday 23rd October between 16:30 and 18:30 at Staðarberg 6.
A new work group for disabled young people at Húsið, named The Wasps, will be running a café on Friday, 23rd October between 16:30 and 18:30 at Staðarberg 6. Coffee, hot chocolate, cupcakes and sausage rolls will be available for a small charge, and there will also be a craft stall on site, as the group has spent the past few weeks designing Christmas baubles, jugs and candles. Everyone is welcome.
Húsið – Youth Centre is for young people aged 16 to 25. Húsið is a place that offers a positive, drug-free environment and recreational activities. The main aim of the work is to engage young people in social activities and prevent inactivity and social isolation.
