The Youth Council of Hafnarfjörður, together with the staff of Hafnarfjörður's youth centres, are holding the Youth Assembly of Hafnarfjörður on Tuesday, 15th March. A Youth Assembly is a platform for young people to come together and discuss their issues in a constructive manner, as well as to put forward proposals for improvement. What can be changed, what is being done well, and what can be done better? The Youth Council is responsible for collecting the ideas and proposals from young people and processing them. The findings will be presented to the town council.

This year, four topics have been chosen: education, environment and planning, social life and culture, and finally prevention. It should be noted that the topics are very open, and participants are encouraged to discuss the issues they consider important.
