A visit from Cuxhaven
The Amandus orchestra from Cuxhaven is currently visiting the Hafnarfjörður Music School. The orchestra has 28 musicians aged 13–18, playing violins, cello, trumpet, trombones, saxophones and guitar. The orchestra will give a concert on 1 June.

Until 2 June, the band Amandus from Cuxhaven is visiting the Hafnarfjörður Music School.
The orchestra has 28 musicians aged 13–18 who play on
violin, cello, trumpet, trombones, saxophones and guitar.
On Wednesday, 1 June, on the very day of Hafnarfjörður's birthday, the band will hold a concert in the Hásalar on Strandgata at.
18:00. At the concert, a newly formed band will play with them on several songs.
The Symphony Orchestra of the Hafnarfjörður School of Music, conducted by Ármann Helgason.
All interested are warmly welcome to the concert – admission is free.
