Manage a scout centre and campsite

The City of Hafnarfjörður and the Scout Association Hraunbúar signed an agreement this week for the management and operation of the scout centre Hraunbyrgi and the campsite at Víðistaðatún, as well as the scout huts at Kleifarvatn. Hraunbúar will manage Hraunbyrgi at Hjallabraut 51 and the campsite at Víðistaðatún, including the scout hall, a tool shed, and an outdoor area, campsite, service building and barbecue facilities at Víðistaðatún, as well as the association's hut and outdoor area at Kleifarvatn. The contract is valid until 31 December 2026.

The Scout Association Hraunbúar manages the day-to-day running of the campsite.
