Playground/play area at Hvammur this summer
This summer, a play scheme will be run at the nursery school Hvamm, Staðarhvammur 23. The play scheme will be open from 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00, during the weeks of 21st-25th July and 28th July-1st August. The play scheme is for children aged 3-5 (born 2020-2022). You can register via Vala and buy a 5 or 10-visit card. One visit on the card is equivalent to a morning or afternoon session (1 visit = a maximum of 3 hours' care).
General information for parents
- The children need to be dressed for the weather.
- The playground is for outdoor play only and cannot be a substitute for a nursery.
- It is recommended that young children are not left for more than 1.5 hours at a time.
- The conditions are not suitable for changing children, so they must be able to use the toilet themselves.
- It's a good idea to bring a water bottle and some light refreshments.
