Christmas is coming to Hafnarfjörður
Our fourth weekend in the Christmas Village will be wonderful. The weather will be kind to visitors, but above all, all the gems to be found there will delight us all. And what can we find in the Christmas Village this weekend? In the experience houses, our glass houses, there will be:
- Friday: Marketing Office of Hafnarfjörður with the map of Hafnarfjörður
- Saturday: Kjötkompaní is offering passers-by a delicious Christmas tasting, freshly baked reindeer pâté and other tasty starters for the festive table.
- Sunday: Edda's Yarn Shop will have plenty of yarn for the Christmas knit-along! Come and see the whole selection!

- 18:30 Margrét Eir sings Christmas songs
Saturday, 6 December
- 10 am – 12 pm Singing Christmas at Hafnarborg
- 1 pm – 3 pm Christmas Joy at Hafnarfjörður Library
- 1 pm – 4 pm Mouse-stair-building and Christmas music in the shed at Siggubær, and Siggubær open.
- 3 pm – 4 pm Cotton candy on a stick at the Grýla Cave by the Museum's Packhouse
- 4 o'clockGrýla's pancake – Puppet show in Hellisgerði
Sunday, 7 December
- 13:00 – 17:00 The Icehouse Christmas Market at ÆGI
- 15:00 Thorri and Thura at Thorsplan
- 15:45 Strings on Thorsplan
- 16:30 The Threstir Male Choir
- 3 pm – 4 pm Cotton candy on a stick at the Grýla Cave by the Museum's Packhouse
- 5:30 p.m. Lighting of the tree of remembrance in Hellisgerði and a procession from St. Jó

- The Centre for Grief provides support and education to bereaved people and their families. Items such as memorial candles, keyrings, heat packs, hot chocolate and books will be available to buy in aid of the work. Arena Eco Shop Offers beautiful natural products. Wool blankets, beeswax candles, incense, essential oils, herbal tea and more. Arena is organic.
- Agzu store will have handmade and recycled products, from candles, soaps and jewellery to Polish pottery!
- Háfell Goat Farm comes with natural produce from the countryside.

- In the middle house stands Brick the watch, but on offer will be Ali Christmas sausage, Brikk Christmas puddings and Góu hot chocolate, to name but a few.
