Digital Transformation in Hafnarfjörður – 1160 days
The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður held a conference on 10 November 2022 on the digital transformation in the municipality from September 2019 to November 2022, or for approximately 1,160 days.
At the conference, staff provided an insight into the journey and what lies ahead. Rósa Guðbjartsdóttir, the mayor, opened the conference. In addition to experts from the City of Hafnarfjörður, there were presentations from the Association of Icelandic Municipalities and Digital Iceland, and Þröstur Sigurðsson, Director of the Digital Office of the City of Reykjavík, chaired the meeting.
The conference was very well attended, held at the Bæjarbíó and was also available to stream. A recording of the conference is available to all on Hafnarfjörður's YouTube channel and also available to view here on the site.
At the end of the conference, the town's new website and new online services were launched, both of which were opened for the occasion. Below you can access a recording of the conference and the presentations.
