Yellow warning from 15:00 today

Attention parents and guardians of children in Hafnarfjörður's primary schools! A yellow warning is in effect for the capital region from 3:00 PM today, and parents and guardians are asked to collect their children at the end of the school day or from after-school activities today, Tuesday. There is no need to collect children before 15:00, but we are simply encouraging you to do so.

Hafnarfjörður's Artist in Residence 2020

On the last day of winter, the City of Hafnarfjörður will appoint the City Artist of Hafnarfjörður for the year 2020. Only artists with permanent residency in Hafnarfjörður are eligible for the award, based on their registered address for the last 12 months.
