A visit from Cuxhaven
From 26th May to 2nd June, the orchestra Amandus from Cuxhaven is visiting the Hafnarfjörður Music School. A new venture in music school
In the spring, a new orchestra began its journey at the Hafnarfjörður Music School; the Hafnarfjörður Music School Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ármann Helgason with the assistance of Laufey Pétursdóttir and Hlín Erlendsdóttir. During the week of 23rd-29th May, the Icelandic Youth Federation is holding a fitness week in Iceland. Hafnarfjörður is taking part in a municipal swimming competition, which takes place all week at Ásvallalaug, Suðurbæjarlaug and Sundhöllin. Participants record how many metres are swum each day on a form available at the reception of the swimming pools, thereby logging their journeys and taking part on behalf of Hafnarfjörður. […]
