Levying of property taxes
Property tax assessment notices can now be accessed on My Pages and on the service portal www.island.is. Those who wish to receive the assessment notice by post are advised to contact the Hafnarfjörður Customer Service Centre. There are ten general instalment dates for property taxes in 2016. The first instalment is due on 15 January 2016, followed by the 1st of each month from March onwards.
