The Hafnarfjörður Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year 2015 will be crowned at an awards ceremony to be held at the Sports Hall on Strandgata on Tuesday, 29 December. Extra bags for general rubbish

Driving on Hvaleyrarvatn is not permitted.

The Environment and Operations Committee of the City of Hafnarfjörður wishes to emphasise that ice driving on Hvaleyrarvatn is NOT permitted. Thorlak's Mass Procession and Christmas Village

  This evening, there will be a Christmas walk in the Christmas Village in Hafnarfjörður. It will set off at 19:00 from the new Lækjarskóli and walk to Thorsplani. Yule lads from Hellisgerði will lead the walk.
