Design and consultancy for Sólvang

Hafnarfjörður is inviting tenders for the design and consultancy for the building and grounds of the proposed Care Home at Sólvang. The building is estimated to be 3,900 square metres and the site approximately 5,000 square metres. New rental flats for disabled people

The national organisation Þroskahjálp and the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður today signed an agreement regarding a plot of land at Öldugata 41 in Hafnarfjörður. The Þroskahjálp housing fund plans to build rental flats there for six disabled individuals. The building is scheduled for completion in 2018. Today, the agreement was signed by Haraldur L. Residents are also urged to take care and not to travel unnecessarily while the worst of the weather is passing.  Residents are asked to clear their rubbish bins thoroughly, and some disruption to the rubbish collection service can be expected due to the weather.
