In the safe hands of Securitas

The City of Hafnarfjörður and Securitas recently signed an agreement whereby Securitas will continue to provide monitoring and statutory inspections of the city's burglar and alarm systems until 2021. Alongside monitoring, the security company will have statutory oversight of the City of Hafnarfjörður's fire alarm systems.
Guðmundur Arason, CEO of Securitas, says the continued partnership is a sign that the past few years have been a success. „We have done our best so far and will, of course, continue to do so. Hafnarfjörður is a large municipality and it is important that residents and visitors to the town feel safe and are safe. That is where we come in, among other things.“ says Gudmundur. Haraldur L. Haraldsson, the Mayor of Hafnarfjörður, welcomes the new agreement and says it is an important part of the city's tendering procedures. „Tendering can involve significant savings for local authorities, but also a reassessment of services and an updating in line with changing times. Here, it is the safety of everyone that matters most, both staff and residents. The terms of the tender ensure that all aspects are well considered. We are in safe hands.“
Securitas has monitored most systems and carried out assessments for Hafnarfjörður in recent years, but with a newly signed contract, all of the town's systems are now under the company's service.
