In recent years, a certain amount of maintenance has become necessary, particularly on the town's open and green spaces. Vegetation, moss and dirt have gradually accumulated on the surfaces of paths and paving stones, necessitating a thorough clean. Now, staff at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre have found a clever solution that makes the job both more efficient and easier. By fitting a lorry with large water tanks and a powerful pump, a new and highly effective piece of work equipment has been created, allowing a single operator to pressure wash paths and open areas with great force. The solution is simple, cost-effective and has already delivered excellent results.
